Selecting an oil filter is probably just as important as selecting the actual oil itself. The oil filter does a very important job in that it filters the impurity in the oil and prevents that impurity from getting inside the engine to where it can do real damage.
I generally do not like cheap aftermarket filters like Fram, Autolite, etc. I like to use at least Honda oil filter. Note that Honda has moved towards manufacturing the smaller diameter oil filter and no longer manufactures the larger diameter filters. So be ready for the change.

Personally, I prefer to use K&N oil filters because they have the nut on top of filter that you can fit a socket over. This makes the filter easier to remove.
